I’m a man in my late 40s who lives with my wife, two daughters, and a pet dog. About 10 years ago, I got a three-story second-hand house in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, slowly renovated it, and cherishing the time I spent with my family. Meanwhile, with the spread of COVID19 in 2020, our lifestyles have changed significantly, and family travel has become hesitant, and various restrictions have been imposed. And even now, three years later, there is no sign of the end. However, no matter what the situation, we must not waste time and don’t neglect preparations. Turning a pinch into an opportunity, it must be a good opportunity to start doing things you haven’t done before. Two-base life with Minamiboso that I’ve seriously thought many times so far, but I haven’t been able to put it into practice. I’m going to have a new life and a new creation at the new base.
Having worked in the entertainment industry for many years, I realize that we are in the midst of a major change. Entertainment content has been reconstructed in line with changes in society, and among them, personal and real-time transmission has become especially important. Precisely because it is such a chaotic era, I feel that the most valuable thing is to continue to transmit the things I have experienced so far and the topics I am thinking about in various ways, organize my mind, and connect it to new creations. Now that I am approaching the age of 50, let’s make this a good opportunity to reconsider the way I work and live. I would like to flexibly incorporate culture, tradition, and new technology, and spread my interests in a wide range of ways, imaginatively, and carefully.
はじめに
私は妻と娘二人、愛犬一匹と暮らす40代後半の男性で、10年ほど前に千葉県市川市に三階建の中古住居を購入、ゆっくりとリフォームをしながら、家族との時間を大切に過ごしてきた。そんな中、2020年を境にCOVID19感染拡大によって生活スタイルは大きく変化し、家族旅行は憚られ多くの制限を強いられるようになり、さらに３年が過ぎようとしている今も終息の兆しは感じられない。今は我慢の時と戒めていたけど、まさに「一寸の光陰軽んずべからず」だと改めて思い直し、能動的に生活を変えようと決意しました。ピンチをチャンスに変えよう、ずっとやらなかったことを始めようと。これまで何度か本気で考えつつも実行に至らなかった南房総との二拠点生活を実際にスタートさせて、新たな拠点で新たな生活、そして新たな創作をしよう。
これまでエンタメ業界に従事してきたが、大きな変化の真っ只中にあることを実感している。社会の変化に合わせてエンタメコンテンツが再構築され、その中でもとりわけパーソナルでリアルタイムな発信が重要になった今、この先どんな景色が待っているんだろう。そんな混沌とした時代だからこそ、本質が問われるに違いない。これまで経験してきたことや興味のあるトピックスについて多様な形で発信し続け、頭の中を整理し、新たな創作へと繋げることが最も価値があるに違いないと。
50歳目前となった今、自分自身の働き方、生き方をもう一度考え直す良い機会にしたい。文化や伝統、新しいテクノロジーを柔軟に取り入れて、興味のあることを多岐に渡り、想像力豊かに、且つ丁寧に発信していきたい。
